To make writing more meaningful to student, give him a real reason for writing such as selecting a real audience to present the published work to (family member, a club, submit to a  blog/website (or make their own), a keepsake journal, family Ramadan newsletter etc).

 

Other Ideas

Write out  (or copy and paste) age appropriate prompts on strips of paper. Decorate a jar or box and place the writing prompts inside. Have child pick out a writing prompt each day and write!

 

Make a special journal for Ramadan writing. Take two pieces of construction paper to make covers and fill with writing paper.
